Hey - I am Laura Hilmi, VA Coach and Mentor and Founder of the Work From Home Business Academy

I know how overwhelming it can be – you have a seed of an idea and a whole load of self doubt. I have been there…. The first time I thought about setting up my own business, I instantly dismissed the idea….. how would I get clients, how would I make it work, what do I charge, what skills do I have……. The questions and doubts were endless BUT then the idea grew on me, I took charge and within months I was fully booked and looking for associates to outsource to. So, I am here to tell you that YES you absolutely can do it! Following the exact steps that I used to go from a glimmer of an idea to fully booked and running a team of associates – you too can establish a profitable and successful business.

The best part about this for me was that I didn’t have to go and work for someone else. I decide when I work and when I don’t. Meaning that I can work around my family and I don’t feel that I have to sacrifice or miss out on important events, I can also travel

whenever I want to and am not bound to annual leave policies and entitlement! You’ll often find me travelling the world or on a local break enjoying time with my family – sometimes trips planned in advance, sometimes a spur of the moment decision to travel. I haven’t had to compromise my travel bug for someone else’s business. I am also there for my children, I don’t miss out on school plays, assemblies or sports fixtures. My income and my business have kept on growing whilst I follow my dreams.

I noticed a trend, not only was I recommended time and time again for my services but other women were also coming to me and asking for support and advice. They could see the freedom and flexibility that my business gave me and wanted to know how they could achieve this. Coupled together with the number of business owners that I see asking for help in public forums on how to get clients, what to charge and even thinking of giving it all up for the security of a salaried position, it was a no brainer – I began to piece together and document step by step exactly what I did to launch and grow my business ready to share with those that are serious in making a success of their home based business.
